The universal shower tray base frame model 5200 by Kaldewei is guaranteed to make installation fast, easy and convenient. With a movable centre and central foot, the frame can be adjusted to suit any size and the lateral sides flexibly positioned. Five screw-in feet, height-adjustable from 96 to 186 mm, and large adhesive areas on the lateral sides ensure that the shower tray is completely stable. Sound-insulated installation in accordance with DIN 4109/A1 is possible when this item is used in combination with Kaldewei’s sound-insulation kit DWS for shower trays.

The clever installation aid for plumbers:

Kaldewei’s installation system frame is used for the flush and barrier-free installation of rectangular bathtubs. The noise-insulating screw-in feet are individually adjustable and can be positioned freely. Reinforced rubber corners and rubber profiles – fitted between the aluminium frame and the shower tray – provide additional noise insulation.

Pre-installation guarantees that the sub-structure is level, which in turn ensures that the shower tray is installed evenly. The system has been much improved by the special anti-seepage connection with backflow barrier from the frame to the siphon, and is protected by a sealing strip to prevent water from penetrating between the frame and the construction. Suitable for shower trays of 2.5 to 6.5-cm depth. The special siphon has a chrome-plated cover (except: Special-ESR for CONOPLAN).

Kaldewei’s sound-insulating kits BWS for bathtubs and DWS for shower trays, used in combination with Kaldewei’s sound-insulated feet for bathtubs or shower trays, provide optimum sound protection far beyond the requirements of DIN 4109/A1 (sound insulation in building construction). It interrupts the main sound transmission routes between the bath and the building, thereby reducing the risk of sound bridges on installation. Kaldewei’s sound insulating kits are universal and can be used with all bathtubs and shower trays.
